Ukkens has a long tradition of supplying quality timber to the furniture trade and the public. We import products directly from Burma and Africa. We have the very latest in the machinery for plank cutting, four side planning, toning and mortising, panel sawing and wide belt sanding. We currently manufacture the wood for a large range of wooden furniture. Indian hard wood known as Sheesham, Maple, Oak, Teak and Mango are sourced here.

Whether it is sawn timber for a kitchen, machined cladding for a new house or for the garden or playground products we can also help in choosing timbers which make a beautiful aesthetic fit in any indoor or outdoor setting. At Ukkens we utilize the latest equipment in the resawing, machining, drying and processing of our high quality, consistent product line.

Facilities

For our large range of wooden furniture, we manufacture Woods. In our company Logs are classified, cut spacy and Quality wise. [Quality is dependent on the Value and Size of the Timber that is put for cutting.].Modern mechanical crane techniques are adapted for loading & unloading of timbers. Logs are sowed by experts who are always trained by experienced hands minimizing the chances of error. Latest machines are used for plank cutting, four side planning, toning and mortising, panel sawing and wide belt sanding.
